October 15, 2012 – OCFF and Little Miss Higgins

Just finished our showcases at the Ontario Council of Folk Festival. It’s always a great time to meet up with our fellow friends
from the road and meet great new acts. Big thanks to Manitoba Music for running a very tight ship!
We’re real happy to be doing our first tour with our good friend Little Miss Higgins. We’ll be playing in western Canada from October 23rd
to November 3rd, visit for all show details.

May 23, 2012 – NXNE 2012 and ‘Red Hot’ album release

We just got back from out west, and now are gearing up to head out to Ontario to perform at the North by Northeast music festival in Toronto.
We will be performing at NXNE Friday, June 15th at the Monarch Tavern and also be performing 8 other Ontario dates before and after the festival.
We’re also patiently awaiting the arrival of our newest album ‘Red Hot’. The album is a 10 track covers album that will be available only on vinyl. Look for release news in July, 2012.

May 3, 2012 – Western Canadian Tour and vinyl release

We’ve just woken from our Winnipeg hibernation and are ready to kick off another busy year of touring with a western swing, starting Friday May 4th.
The tour will feature dates along with fellow Winnipeggers, Red Moon Road, and an Ironwood performance backing our good friend Brook Wylie.

The release of our 2nd album Angel in the Corner is coming this weekend, kicking it all off with the release show August 27th at the West End Cultural Centre. The album will be available online
digitally and physically through CD Baby and Kerf Music. Western Canadian tour dates have been announced beginning on August 31st at the Exchange in Regina where we will be backing

We’ll be heading out west again in December from the 9th to the 19th. Stops include: Regina (O’Hanlon’s), Saskatoon (Lydia’s),
Edmonton (Black Dog), Calgary (Mikey’s Juke Joint) and Canmore (Canmore Hotel). We’ve been hard at work on tunes for the new album, so this will
be a sneak peak at the new material.

We made it back home after 2 months of touring, playing over 40 shows from Salmon Arm BC to Charlottetown PEI. We had a blast at Deep Roots Festival and the Roots and Blues Festival; an unexpected performance with Fred Penner was definitely a highlight.
Since our return, we’ve started work on our second album. We plan on heading into the studio in February. Look for more news on this in the coming months.

We’re currently gearing up for 2 months of Cross-Canada tour dates. We’ll be on our way West again for the month of August, and we’re very excited to be performing at the Salmon Arm Roots and Blues as well as the Robson Valley Music Festival.
For September we’ll be making our way to Wolfville Nova Scotia to perform at the Deep Roots Music Festival, with over 15 stops along the way.

The F-Holes have just been added to the Deep Roots Music Festival in Wolfville Nova Scotia.
The 2010 edition of the festival will be taking place on September 24 and 25. Great way to cap off a month of touring Eastern Canada.
